Mercator Ocean International, EUMETSAT & ECMWF are organising a WEkEO Online Demo on July 2, 2020, 10:00–11:30 am CEST.
Context
In June 2020, a new version (called V1) of the WEkEO service has been launched, offering a wide range of improvements and new functionalities. The WEkEO V1 cloud platform provides a comprehensive portfolio of original Copernicus Programme and Sentinel satellite data, with harmonised data access, cloud infrastructure and expert user support.
Objectives of the demo
On the occasion of the release of Version 1, EUMETSAT, ECMWF and Mercator Ocean International are pleased to invite you to attend an online demo, whose objective is to introduce you to the new WEkEO functionalities such as a direct, up-to-date, unreplicated access to the entire Copernicus as well as Sentinel portfolios. The agenda is as follows:
- Overview of the WEkEO service (which data and cloud processing capabilities are available, what are the free and paid plans, user support and training agenda) – 30 mins
- Online demonstration of the WEkEO web portal (view, discover, select and download data, register for free plans, register for paid plans, run a Jupyter Notebook, ask for virtual machines, and run my application on virtual machines) – 40 mins
- Q&A – 20 mins
